The tranquility of the forest and the beauty of nature encourages the composer to explore a myriad of avenues.

In Water Dance, I have attempted to give the listener a glimpse of the abundance of creation at various times during the day. The symphony of nature is constantly unfolding. The celestial stars of the night, the early morning mist through the trees, the dancing drops of water in the rushing stream, the sun-drenched flowers of a field in the afternoon, all conspire to delight the senses.

My hope is that the music contained in this album, together with the exquisite environmental sounds captured by Ernest Lyons, will enfold you in peace and tranquility. Although some of these tracks have found their way onto other cd's of my original music (minus environmental sounds), this album is presented here as originally released in 1995. Other titles that feature environmental sounds with music: "My Father's World" and "A Symphony of Nature".
