Gentle Spirit Music released it's first album, "Great Hymns of the Christian Faith" on cassette tape in 1986. Due to interest generated from that first album, a Christmas collection plus the first album dedicated to traditional Catholic hymns were released. Expanding into the cd market in the early '90's, Gentle Spirit added albums of original music by David Phillips, vocal arrangements featuring His Majesty's Musicians and Seraphim and spoken word recordings, including the Rosary, Way of the Cross and the Psalms. Now with the capability of mp3 downloads, the website of Gentle Spirit offers new titles, especially for download. These include the vocal talents of not only His Majesty's Musicians and Seraphim, but vocal tracks from Robert Kochis and new instrumental arrangements from David Phillips.
